Title: sanbars in laughlin?

Are there any sand bars in laughlin that people party at??  So far I have only found prudential rock and gasoline alley but its all rock.  Was hopefully lookin to find a chill sand bar out there ???

Not so much in Laughlin but just south of the Avi are some beaches that are hot spots for the locals.

lazy harrys is a cool cove i personally like...sems like no one really talks about it, but i dig it

I like to launch from there.  Unless they dredged that thing it usually has weeds growing like crazy.

i cant really explain it except its up river from avi and on the arizona side! its a cove you pull intp and in the summers its full! pretty cool bar

is there diving rocks when you pull in?  I think this maybe the same place i usually go to.  There is a beach in the back?

Its at the veterans memorial park.  Find that and pull into the cove inlet to the north and you will run right into it.

Last time i was there it looked real good, i would launch there but parking SUCKSSSS!!!!!!!

But i do like that little beach they got going on

It sounds like your talking about Lake Mohave (Gasoline Alley) and everyone else is talking about the river area in Bullhead City(Lazy Harrys).  There's no sandbars on the Lake that I know of but there is a couple sandbars on the river, one is just up river from Lazy Harrys and another is just up from the Big Bend State Rec Area.  I don't really see a lot of people hang out there though.

Lazy Harry's was rockin last Wednesday. We day camped at BigBend 7 boats, 25 people ;)
