A Garden grove woman died after she was involved in a boating crash along the colorado river in Needles, authorities said saturday. Sandra Door, 29, was operating a PWC on the river near the I-40 bridge around 4:15 p.m. when she suddenly turned into the path of a mastercraft vessel, a San Bernardino county sherrif-coroner department spokesman said. The operator of the mastercraft couldn't avoid the collision, and Door and her passenger were thrown into the water, authorities said. Door's passenger and the Mastercraft operator were not hurt :thumbdown:

Just read about this, sounded like a 20' Bomardier boat, not a PWC...Sad to hear.
No one should ever have to die while having fun on the river with your family on vacation. :thumbdown:

Truely sad that someone could die just trying to have fun.
Education, Experience and paying attention to what you are doing and the people around you could avoid 99.9 percent of all of these so called "accidents"!

Unfortunately we all have seen people not paying attention to what is going on around them, thinking that everyone else will avoid them no mater what they do.
Keeping this in mind, I hope everyone here will be aware of what's happening on the water and try to not become a statistic.
