I'm agonizing over this myself.  Based my my internet research, it seems that there isn't a reliable 14" trailer tire made today.  I have some Titan radial trailer tires now, but they're 10 years old, and not made anymore.

I'm looking at a higher load-rated 15" radial passenger car , in spite of what everyone says about not using them.  Of course, that will require new wheels also...

Be interesting to hear what suggestions people have.

I run passenger tires on my trailers.  Never had any problems.

x2 regular 15" radials on my boat trailer ... not exactly haullin a heavy load, iv had no problems.. and expect i wont..

I've been thinking about running 15 "bfg ko's they should last a long time and can handle the weight. They run 115 each at wheel warehouse in Anaheim.

Check out Gladiator tires we sell them at the shop I work at and they come in a ton of sizes plus they range from 14 ply to 6 ply they wear like nails.
