does anyone know if the id # is stamped anywhere on the trailer ? I looked all over the tongue. Its a CA boat and trailer and indiana wants the trailer vin and i need to show it.

The tags are rarely surviving on an old trailer like that, but all the RR trailers I have and have had, the VIN was also stamped on the top of the frame rails near where they meet at the tongue. hard to see with all the years of paint, maybe, but they should be there.
