Title: Need trailer rebuild
Post by: trido on December 18, 2015, 01:54:46 AM
Can anybody recommend a good trailer builder or somebody that can rebuild my current trailer? I have a tandem axel trailer that my 18ft Tahiti Super Tiger sits on. The brackets for one of the bunks have rusted through and snapped off. I want to refurbish it but not sure it's even salvageable due to all the rust I see on it. Any leads would be greatly appreciated!

Call my boy Tommy at Carson Trailer in Beaumont, or if it's closer to you call Derik at Carson trailer Norco. Both good dudes and they not only sell but restore and modify trailers. Tommy did my last boat trailer with all new wiring lights paint, welded up some cracks etc. new winch, rollers, the whole deal and it was real reasonably priced.

I'm pretty proud of some of the restos and builds we did at Roke Trailer.   I still do projects on everything from adding new chrome fenders and bunks to re-paints etc etc.....   Here is the link to our Facebook page,  mostly race dollys,  but there are some good pics of road stuff and restores as well....    Good luck with the project!   Happy to help if I can................
