Here is how we do this on the east coast. ;D I have not seen any floater bars here.
I made the bracket for the "V-rubber" part I got at West Marine for 6 bucks. I think that was the cheapest part there. Also welded the thingy for the jack. Simple crank winch system.

TJS, with everything you have done to your boat, engine particularly, and I mean from the O2 sensors, TPS brackets, linkages, EFI issues more technical jargon and terms, none of us know, than the Science Channel ever states in a week, the best you come up with is 'The THINGY for the jack" ????? :sly:

Dude, just caught me as funny! :D

Although, even the THINGY looks pretty bitchen!  (as does the rest of the damn boat) Yeah........ I'm jealous! lol

ok, so i figured it out. towed it to Laughlin a couple times. much more stable. so much easier than the floater bar with a boat the size of mine

Keep it simple, and clean. Still in the process of redoing the trailer, but swingaway tongue, and electric brakes are in order.

I also framed up an area for some aluminum tread plate just beyond the winch.
