So I need to buy a new axle for my tandem trailer. Im thinking about just replacing both of em cause my trailers pretty hammered and Im sure it wouldnt hurt. What axle rating do I need? Will 2200 be enough or do I need to go bigger? Thanks!

I would say if you have 2- 2200# axles that would be more than enuf for your boat. i would suggest replacing u-bolts and spring plates also. you might have a hard time finding the same axle that is under there now, so you might have to buy two. good luck
