My trailer needs new bunks. Can I just cover the new bunks with Astro Turf/ indoor outdoor carpet? Or, do I need something special?
-
just did mine-black indoor/outdoor from home depot-ebony was the name on tag-works fine
-
Did you use stainless staples?
-
itried something different this time=i glued the top to the wood so it wouldnt have a tendency to move around then i used galvanized roofing nails to secure to bottom of bunks=staples didnt last that long too me so im trying something different=
-
I might give the nails a try. It makes sense that the nails would be much stronger, and hold into the wood much harder than staples
-
I also used in out carpet in grey and galvanised roofing nails
-
I'm just having a hard time wrapping my head around the "roofing Nails" thing. I get it, the logic is VERY clear, and to be perfectly honest, I cannot come up with a reason why not??? Pure genius!
