Title: Trailer Bunks

I was thinking that maybe a back bone to the composites would work.

As for placement on the trailer, was easy for me I just put em back where the old ones where, so Im not much help there :-\ But the stainless lag screws I put on 4 years ago still look like new and no movement with the bunks at all Mark

I plan on doing some work to it before I put the boat on it. Just wanted some ideas as to where the bunks need to be placed. I guess at the first set of strakes, under the stringers and then just out side the second set of strakes.

Now that is one sweet looking trailer. I can see I've got some work cut out for me as I don't even have the risers that the bunks bolt to. Where did you get the lights? I also need new fenders. Chrome would look nice. I just noticed the small caster type rollers on the tail end. That's a great idea as well.

Greg, the lights came from Dana but I would call Tom to see if he carries that style first.
Shortly after that pic. was taken I got some stainless fenders, ouch they were expensive.
Casters can help save that rear cross member from getting drug.

I've got a good source for the lights. I haven't been able to find SS fenders and I've only got a single axle trailer.

I was told 1K for the dual axle fenders .
You get what you pay for though .
