On my trailer, the rear "bar" is bending.  I am referring to the bar that goes across from each side, that houses all the rear lights and also the place for the rear straps.  I believe this is due to the fact that when i strap the boat down on the trailer, and as the boat bounces when driving, it causes the straps to pull up on the bar.  Thus is why it bends. 
My question to you, is it repairable or is the integrity of the metal already gone due to the fact that it is bending? I have a few ideas on how to fix it but I would also like to hear what you think..... Thanks
