LB Superjet, is it leagal to run the chain like that?  I need to put chains on my trailer but I dont weld! I'v seen them bolted on. I'll also be changing my toung, I just hate drilling holes on any trailer! But hell I need to paint it any way!

hey dude, it might not be legal, but its just a temporary one till i get a nice mount welded on. i dont weld neither! just at my former boss' shop...i already cut it off since im only towing local right now...i need to get something done..just get a friend or something to MIG a crosmember on that u can wrap twin cables onto the underside and you'll be ready to paint...thats what i plan on doing 

dont quote me on this, but i remember the discussion of this style came up and one time and someone said they have been deemed to be illegal/unsafe....maybe illegal to install on new trailers? i dont know

either way, they are real blood blister making pinching bitches.

personally, i'd just stick with the traditional kind.

yeah, they look cooler then the standard ones, but after reading peoples reviews that have dealt with them, i'd stick with a standard one.....it looks like its unsafe for towing and lots of blood blisters from getting pinched by it.

LOL, i guess i should of opened that link i thought is was for the square new style.
there must be issues with that style because i can't find any anywhere! ok i'll stay with the traditional style.

If anyone has one like beerjets laying around i am interested in it.  i have one like that on my boat but it is missing the spring.  i dont mind it yet, it still hasnt pinched me.
