So I bought a new house and I want to bring my boat home to store in the garage from my storage unit to save some money. Problem is my driveway is only 11 feet wide at one point between two walls. Before I waste my time towing it all the way home, is there anybody with a tandem axle trailer that can tell me the width from outer tire to tire? Just trying to save myself a 100 mile trip just to measure. I know all trailers are different, just trying to get an average.

I believe it's 8'-0"

I believe in ca you can't be any wider than 8 feet.

We have a 20 foot mini day and the trailer is 8'3" from the outside of the tires!
Floating through life like I'm on my boat with a beer in my hand!!

Legal limit (Federal) is 102" wide (8'6"), and my tandem Competitive trailer measures in at ~95 & 1/2".
That should easily fit thru a 11' driveway.

102" (8'6") is the legal, non permit width.
So it's likely less than that.
