Title: TRAILER WORK
Post by: trmn8ter on June 10, 2015, 04:47:59 PM
Anybody know of a good trailer repair place close to Rancho Cucamonga?   I need the runners redone and trailer painted on a 18' Southwind jetboat...

Thanks in advance

i have a shop here in stanton.  about 30-45min from rancho...
i can replace your bunks, carpeted and have trailer painted.  my painter is a couple doors down from my shop.  you can reach me here or on cell.  send/post pics of what you have.  to get a more accurate/best quote, we'd need to see your trailer. particularly for painting.  id prefer if boat was off trailer....but if not, we can pull it off.  i have a dolly we can put it on in the mean time.

Sure.
For bunks price ranges from about $350-400 depending on how long bunks are and if you choose stainless staples.
For painting. Hard to say. If heavily rusted but salvageable... meaning no welding required.... 800-1000.
if light surface rust, price come down. Size of trailer affects price.
If welding is needed, say to replace a cross member, looking at 250-350 in addition to paint work.
So....1400-1750 depending on What's needed and materials used. If replacing bunks, welding and painting that is....
Price varies on work needed.
