I like the 45* deals. You DO kow they dont even run pumps on race boats (some)? I also have one of those 45* deal in the bottom for my trans cooler/ v-drive cooler water and I'll tell ya a couple years ago at parker before I had the dump plummed into the stuffing box I had the ole lady hold the hose over the side and that sumbitch picked UP some water now! I replace an impeller a year...or so. That little pump has just the right pressure to operate a Bassett T too.

-10 from the pick up to the water pump where it tee s to two -8s. the dumps will also be -8s. Also, its a good idea to carry a spare impeller. Replace the impeller annually.
