I have a v-drive gearbox that has Hemi stamped into it at the top on both sides. Does anyone know who makes this? I was thinking it might have been made by Chrysler since they had their own marine division at one time. However, I was also thinking that Chrysler may have subcontracted to another company who makes V-drives. I don't see any other names on it though. If anyone could shed some light on the subject, it would be greatly appreciated.

This was a very sofisticated well designed box but "Short lived" production by a guy in the late 60's It looks similar to a Halibrand and alas has no parts availble with the exception of ("sourced out") bearings and seals (and of course used if found) I've had some limited expirence with this box and may be able to help you to some degree BTW there was no relationship to Chrysles Corp ... Do you happen to know if there are any compatible parts from another manufacturer that would be suitable for this gearbox?

Unfortunately no parts are interchangable to my knowledge Tom
