went to the top of signal hill to fly our kite yesterday and took some pics, had a great time on a rainy day


downtown L.A normally cant see it because of the smog

Catalina island

went to the beach as well, thumbs island

Great pictures Ralph.  You and I are neighbors.  I live in HB now, but spent most of my adult (if you can call it that) life in Long Beach and on the Hill...

couldn't think of living any place else, the beach was great just us and the birds

great pic of seal beach, looks like u could just take off and land @ marine stadium in that shot!...definately a cool place to check out when its not crowded.

My grandparents lived on Orange St. about a block from the freeway.  I love that place.  We have a lot of old pics from the docks and marketplace area cuz Gramps was a grocery wholesaler.  Thanks for posting those pics.   Bad Ass kite by the way.
