Studded tires, pretty much the norm in the Northeast, from NY to Maine.

I have used studded tires, they had a .25" steel stud embedded in the tire every inch or so.  Look at :07, the tires look like a porcupine...

Different studs, lol, they use the ones used on the old Ice Track motorcycle races. Dunno if anyone ever saw those. Real old school stuff. Look like nails!!

Exactly what I was looking at, lol Looked like a lake race, which means to me, someone eventually might get wet, lmao

Maybe that was part of the challenge? But that was a new one I'd never seen b4.
