Hey guys. Just wanted to see if you guys went through the same thing when your apart from your lil one for the first time. My little girl is 14 months and this is the first time I've been away from here for more than work hours and I'm already missing her. Trying to keep busy but it's hard no seeing her after work. And it's only been a day ! Lol. Sorry just had to vent a little

I feel ya. My boy was 15 months and I was away for a week. It was pretty ruff not seeing him while I was gone. But, getting back and seeing his face while he ran/stumbled to me when I got home was the best. Can't beat those moments! I hope the week rolls by fast for ya so you can get home to your girl!

Thanks man. I hope it flys by as well. Only I'm the one at work and my little girl and fiancé flew to Idaho for the week to visit her sisters.

heh. with our new baby my wife took her to the grandparents like a week before i was gonna fly out... at first i was all "WOO HOO BOAT TIME!" and then that quickly wore out when there was no screaming, crying, or poop wiping. ive never looked forward to changing poop and pee before... ^-^

Tell me about it. I hate going home. I've been trying to stay late at the shop so I just go home to shower and sleep and come back to work. And yes I would change 100 poopy diapers instead of this lol

FaceTime or Skype makes it easier, and I think droids have there version of FaceTime. It's not the same as holding them but it helps. But the best way to handle this is not to let her go anywhere unless you go lol.

Yeah we're gonna Skype later tonight so that will make it a little better. I was supposed to go with them but I couldn't take a week off from work

Yeah, when my little girl was taken from me our whole life basically stopped doing anything.
I mean you would have to know me and my family, but someone makes dinner every night at my house. A whole month where no one cooked, we barely left the house other than to go to work. And all we did was sit around and talk about it... It drained the life out of me.
