FUBAR Knees...Who's got em?
« on: June 06, 2012, 11:25:02 PM »
So I am modifying a collapsible stand for my Magna BBQ grill and just cleaning up, go to my work truck to throw some tools back in the tool box, step off the curb and POW! My right knee pops loud enough that my neighbor heard it from his driveway. I can't put any pressure on it without if feeling like there is a sheet metal screw in it.  :'(

It has done this before, about two months ago, same knee, pain began to subside after about 20 oz. of Kentucky pain reliever.

The pain is about a 6 out of 10 mostly down the center of the knee just below the cap...

Gotta go see a specialist I'm guessing.

Anybody been through this? :-\

Luckily I haven't had any major problems with my knees (yet).

Get it checked out, you might be suprised what the Dr's can do for joint problems.

Just don't plan on any dirt bike back flips in the future.  ;)

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

my knees started in grade school playing football when i broke my knee cap, after that all down hill from there. have had to go see a few diff people about my knees and they all tell me the same thing! leave it alone till you cant handle it anymore.cause nothing is better than original equipment.  stay off of it use ice no heat that just makes it worse.  good luck!!   )i feel your pain)

10-4, thanks for the info.

Having an MRI done Tuesday. we'll see what happens. I have been fairly lucky thus far. I find that I an totally fine until that certain movement or action then I am literally down for the count. Can't even set my foot on the floor without it feeling like someone is twisting a knife in my knee....  :screwy:

Getting older blows.

I am 24 and i am already being diagnosed with bursitis in my knees.  But that is probably another symptom of the ankylosing spondylitis i was diagnosed with a year ago.  but the river always seems to dull the pain!
