Seems like all the "real guys" are here anyways. FB just sucks in general.  I never noticed this forum went downhill. It's always been cool to me. Lots of standup dudes. GT, Mash on It, River Dad, Flusher, Beerjet, Shocker,.... Just to name a few. Many others are helpful too.

Ok I'll admit it. I hate the Facebook group. I don't know what it is, but social media brings out the worst in people. Everyone feels the need to argue, just to argue! I don't even really post on my personal FB page anymore and I just so happened to yesterday, and it started an argument - over nothing.

Running the FB page is a nightmare. I delete stuff because it's irrelevant to the group and people lash back at me because they think I deleted their post because they think I've got a personal grudge against them. I've even had and currently have people making physical threats towards Brittney and I. Why? Because those people were acting like idiots and got kicked out of the group.....but I'm the bad guy? Ridiculous.

Personally, I'd just rather just shut down the whole group, but on the flip side, the group has really help grow the Socaljetboats brand, so from a business perspective, that wouldn't be wise.

In all the years of this forum, I have legitimately banned less then 10 people. It seems like I kick/block about 10 people in the FB group a month for being assholes.

So pretty much I run an internet day care center. I make rules, and people argue or poke fun at it. There is no happy medium.

End rant.

Damn...... someone actually knows me , lol. You were the first person I ever met in person from here El Mojado. 🍻 I too am guilty of not coming here as often, but even when i do, i just read stuff. I dont feel I'm knowledgable enough to really put in my .02 enough but i do read a lot of posts and have learned a lot from them.

Hello all from OHIO. I’ve been running jets for the last 20 years. Let’s just say not much help over this side of the country in the jet world. Wishing I were closer to you guys to rally, race or just hang time. I don’t do Facebook and hope this site continues. I check in many times a day to see what’s new, for sale or someone in need. If you don't want me to take/post photos of your boat, just let me know bud. I can totally respect that. Most people are excited to show off their hard work and get recognition for it. Every boat I have ever put on a shirt I got permission to do prior to going to print. Every one of them were blown away and excited about it.

This goes for anyone. If you don't want pics of your boat taken/posted, just let me know. I will respect your wishes and will not take offense to it.
