I saw someone at the Pomona Swap Meet on Sunday wearing a HotBoat t-shirt (looking very proud), I was going to say something about it, but didn't want to start something I wasn't prepared to finish.

Someday I hope to achieve the knowledge required to not have to rely on others and/or to not have to rely on other websites for my jet boating knowledge. But for now I will learn from whomever is highly skilled in the jet boat industry and is willing to share their information.

That doesnt always involve supporting HB . Basically anyone worth taking advise from has gone elsewhere . Remember , the website is worthless without its members . They have all left for greener pastures , which means HB.com is no longer worth the steaming pile of crab of a magazine it represents .

They finally have the forum back up. It's a pain to find the old threads that were so good for me and many of you other guys that joined in but at least they are there. They did do what they said they would do however. six month delay though is inexcusable. Just to make sure, I am trying to print out the threads I really need so they will no longer be lost. The give and take in some of those threads are priceless.

I agree, hot boat mag used to be great in the late 70's/early 80's. I think it was named drag boat or something like that. But they had more river and lake boats. Now it seems like they're targeting the offshore crowd.
