Title: OK, I'm ready for summer...
Post by: GT Jets on October 23, 2010, 09:46:44 AM
It's friggen 50* and sprinkling outside, my feet are cold, it's dark and gloomy, tomorrow it is supposed to rain like a MOFO....This blows. :P

What happened to summer? Are we just going to skip it all together from here on out?  :screwy:

So next year, here is the plan (making reservation/vacation days being chosen right now).

At least two Shasta trips, thinking spring, then late summer, probably a trip to SoCal for the a-typical Disneyland/Sea World type deal, LASR at least 3 times this year (close and cheap for us) and really going to try for some Tahoe time, been 2 years since we have been and we have a house available to us for free..... :screwy:

Also going to throw in some me time with some small local fly fishing excursions with my pop, maybe Kings Canyon/River and Tahoe.

What are you guys planning? C'mon let's here em before I concrete may itinerary.... ;D

Hey GT
My son has been doing some fly fishing up above Shaver/Huntington and catching some golden trout just off the John Muir trail. If you are interested in a little hiking, he'd probably show you the spots. Beautiful fish, and beautiful country.
