So today started out great...untill...I got a bloody nose but that was short lived...then at the end of my day...I cut my finger...it was a bleedin like a stuck pig...son of a biatch...I start thinkin I should get stitches....so this happened at the end of the work day and I was like I'm good...so I call ashley and tell her get me some super glue and a butterfly I'm on my way to your house...so I get there and she is all nope...dude you need stitches....fock here we go again...so she takes me to the hospital and when I got there I wasn't bleeding anymore....anyway the doc starts messing with it and then it turns into a gusher! That's when they realized that I serverd the artery in my right ring finger...so now they are getting ready to transport me to another hospital and then they got the bleeding to stop...and stitched it up and now I'm good just in pain....fock!

Ouch, bro!  I think your finger might fall off when the tip of it doesn't get blood flow anymore.  LoL... Just kidding.  Was it on your primary hand or the one you don't use so much?

Thought I was going to have to get stitches yesterday.  Shot myself with a 16 penny from the nail gun.  A half hour into my day, nailing a double top-plate down...  The nail ricocheted off the head of the nail below it and went straight into my left ring finger.  My hand retracted immediately and I shook it off like a bee sting, then noticed blood was splattering everywhere.  Couldn't tell if I needed stitches or not until I got the bleeding to stop.  Realized it was just a puncture wound and today you can hardly even tell it's there at all.  I sure can though, sensitive as all hell.

Thirty three stitches and two staples in two fingers, (epic circular saw fail) been there done that and don't want to do it again... :screwy:

I will give some 411 to ya though, the biggest problem I had was trying to sleep, the throbbing was unbearable, use a couple of socks tied together and hang your hand above your head to the headboard, works killer. 8)

You can also use a bag of frozen veggies to numb it up before you crash. I couldn't handle the Vicodin, made me halucinate something terrible and couldn't sleep with Barney the dinasaur in the room   :screwy:

you sure it was the Vicodin that caused you to see Barney and not the actually costume you own of Barney because you forgot to put him in the closet. lol. j/k.
feel your pain there Nordie. not as bad as you but this is what i did.
did this yesterday at work... was helping to pull in 4-600 awg wire for the main distribution and got the rope wrapped around my hand just as the other guys pulled... luckily i was able to twist my hand out as they pulled. but wasn`t quick enough to avoid the damage... got home and thumb area was swollen and red... woke up this morning and was twice the size and couldn`t make afist without pain... fingers were a little numb and thought shit.... broke it. took a nice warm shower and swelling went down little. decided to have it checked out... long story short just really really bruised and sore. good to have the drugs. lol.
but glad to hear you are going to be ok... and look at it this way.... pain means you are still alive.

lmao Did almost the same thing on Percocet when I had an abcessed(sp) toothe on new years day a few years ago. Was so stoned on the stuff my son caught me as i went outside to the patio to have a smoke, and a pain pill, first thing in the morning and I had a Percocet tab in my mouth and my ciggy in my hand trying to light the percocet tab! Had the strangest dreams and called Cindy my ex wifes name, repeatedly, for a week or so. (THAT was a problem!)

Stopped those things immediately! (Although my son still brings the matter up from time to time. He thinks it was funny as hell.)

Sorry to hear about all this Nordie, everything OK now?  The frozen Veggie deal? GREAT tip! use that one all the time.

i tell you what the antibiotic they got me on gives me cotton mouth and hungry as a horse...however that could have been from the blood losss...that little cut i tell you what it was a fuckin bleeder
