Had a rough crash on my bike in Havasu yesterday. I broke six ribs and have a collapsed lung. They ended up cutting my side open and putting a tube in and into my lungs to drain out the blood.. Some days are just better than others.. Lol :banghead:

Very sorry to hear you are injured but glad to hear you are doing ok. Are you in a Vegas hospital?
-
Yeah they shipped me from Havasu to the sunrise medical center. Or something like that,

I'm still healing from my broken rib and shoulder blade from my Thanksgiving tumble
The one thing I would recommend is load up on Vitamin C and maybe a daily vitamin to help keep you from getting a cold/flu because coughing with broken ribs sucks.
Get well soon.

There is that coughing thing......I'm a smoker, so most of this last summer I dealt with that also. Echinacea helps a LOT!
When I felt a cough coming on, I'd sit, grab opposite shoulders and lean into my lap as hard as possible. Otherwise, the pain was unbearable....
I know, I know, all the Women in our lives say "that is nothing"....Some have probably dealt with broken ribs BECAUSE of such comments and still contend this....I can't say "yay" or "nay" to the childbirth thing. I CAN say, it is the most pain I've ever dealt with (No pain pills for me....well, except for after the first couple days I ran outta CrewCheif's "Apple Pie"...) in my life, Save a major Sinus Infection, 3 simultaneous root canals, and pissing off a good friends wife during a Divorce (long story).
Fast recovery man!

I've had to learn to deal with pain. This is my 18th bone I have broke. My leg has been the worse so far. I got a plate and 7 screws on that one.
