DRUNK tonight ;D
Its been 80+ days since my last day off with no days off in my near future. Cut backs took my help and ive been the lone ranger and im getting f-kin tired..
now i just found out my 78 year old dad is going into the hospital :banghead:
He's a tough man , but he aint telling me the truth either. I guess he dont want me to worry but thats gonna happen no matter what he tells me...
Its time for some whiskey and Coke and watch a lil Old School
Sorry for the ramble... Carry on :sly:

Dude -- whatta work "week". You deserve a rest at some point or they are gonna lose you too, and not in a good way. I know exactly how you feel about your Dad. Mine is 82 and basically every month is a new adventure, and not in a good way. As they say "what doesn't kill us, serves to make us stronger". Small consolation I know. Stay strong Steve-O

Well i got a little update with my pops....
he is home now , and not doing to good. Turns out he has congestive heart failure and copd ???
I dont think he will be with us much longer. He is definately not the same man that went into the hospital. teh man that came out is old and brittle :'(
More good news today, My little girl just called and said she has a Disc disease in her back and might need surgery to fix if it does not progress to stage 2
She is only 17 and scared shitless, her uncle John has the same disease and now is in a wheelchair.
I really dont know how much more i can take before i fukin flip out....
Life can't get any better than this..........I hope.
Sorry for getting emotional, but im balling like a baby right now :'(

Sorry to hear about your Dad. I went through kind of the same thing with my Dad several years ago. He had been on breathing treatments and medications that turned him from an ADHD Dad to a fraile old man in just a few years.
Hope all goes will with your Daughter.
Our prayers will be with you and your family.

Sorry to hear about your dad, Steve. You're in our thoughts and prayers. That's rough, I know.
I'm right there with you on the drinking part, buddy. Been doing that about an hour or two already.

our prayers are with you and your family, especially your dad and daughter, as ralph said, spend as much time as you can with him and value what time you have left, this is from experience, if i could go back i would do things very differently with my pops. we truly hope all works out well for you.

Hey Steve, Keep a positive attitude if at all possible, sounds like you're having my 2008, our family had more life changing things happen in one year than we had in the last 17 together, keeping a positive attitude and keeping in communication will help a lot...
I am not a religious person, but we will keep you in our thoughts, remember, talking about it is a way to reach out, it made me feel better. Stay strong bro....

Stay strong Steve, remember that a pops is a guy that brought you into this world, we may hate them, love them, despise them, question them, think what the hell you talkin about dad ???, but you know what, most all Dads care about their Kids and their well being and of that of their families, and not even care about themselves, just care about the family...
