My wife and I tried like 10 recipes from a google search a couple weekends ago. Hard to go wrong with anything from the Food Network. I can't remember exactly what we settled on but my wife wrote it down somewhere.

We were salting the rim of the glass with lime flavored margarita salt, salt and pepper, even some type of steak seasoning. We tried the normal celery and olives on the toothpick but also tried pickles and beef jerky. You can turn a bloody mary into a whole freakin' meal. I'll try and get the recipe from her and post it up but there's a ton of awesome ideas out there.

Gotta use the zing zangs Bloody Mary mix. Salt the rim. Dash of Lawrys salt, pepper,  worstishire or a1 steak sauce and vodka. Couple drops of Tabasco if you like it spicy. Drop a stick of celery in and tear it up. Can't go wrong
