Hey everyone Christmas boat parade in chino hills December 18th 6:30 pm near the shoppes off the 71fwy and grand ave. No water just a bunch of folks towing their boats full of lights and friends. Applications on the chino hills city web site. It gets packed !!

I was involved in that parade back in 97, 98, and 99

Thanks for the reminder. It's cool to see this still going on.
I remember seeing it when I was a kid. I used to live on Rolling Ridge which was a part of the original route.
What do you use to power up the lights? Generator?
-
Yes a generator , the parade is so big these days they have started to limit the entries and the route grows a little each year. It's a good family tradition to get everyone's Christmas spirit going.

Nowadays it's only one night right? Back in the day when we did it, it was 3 nights. Those were good times. When is the parade this year, and what's the route?

Parade is December 18 and 19 . Friday it's off Peyton right behind Ayala high school and runs down through the boys republic school. Saturday night it runs through the city of chino hills residential areas.
