Title: Berkley Jet pump question?
Post by: SleekCraft9308 on July 19, 2019, 05:58:01 PM
I’m new have a Sleek craft tunnel hull. The current pump on it now is missing a lot of parts. My question is this , keeping in mind my wife wants a  huge Rooster tail ! Our deal for the boat. Should I just have the 12-j E rebuilt or is a 12-JC more adaptable to adjust for a Rooster. And any suggestions advice on best route to go not racing just would like a nice top speed n large rooster tail. What parts do you guys recommend ? Thank you for your Help . New guy appreciation.

And JE bowl is the same as a JC bowl, and a place diverter will fit either.

And JG bowl will also fit the JE suction housing. And a place diverter will fit too.

The impeller will fit all of the above.

Impeller selection with depend on horsepower available, hull type and weight, and usage.

Speed will be determined by hp, hull type and weight, and rpm available, and wallet size.

Hope that helps
