There might be a reason why it doesn't have a droop on it. Possibly just run it without one at first and then try it later? I dunno that's just crazy talk ;D
-
Yeah the reason might be that the guy before 2sav didnt have the money to put one on!!!

With all the other fancy parts on that boat, don't think so

What would be a disadvantage to running a droop?

Not sure, that would be a question for the circle boat guys running on this site that don't run them ;)
-
Depending on how the boat handles it could raise the boat out of the water too much.

Good call, if ya get these circle boats too loose, you may end up doing circles in a corner :o
-
Yeah Dennis told me not to put one on cause its already set up, but im not running the HP he was. So im going to have to change the rideplate and all. I just thought a droop would look cool ;D
I will post a pic of my pump here in a bit, maybe you guys can give some pointers ???

Ralphs boat does very well (no droop) and although I originally thought it was "stuck" when i looked at it , I have since changed my mind ,hard to argue with sucess Tom

i have the short droop
does your boat have a rocker in it? if it does you may get enough lift from that. i would like my stuff to look cool too but, i'm more worried about function
-
Ralph i stand corrected but I don't think a droop (AT PD etc) would benifit a neer constantly turning boat just my 02 Tom
-
Tom-
I agree with you about Ralph's boat being "stuck" and to be honest, I think that's one of the biggest reason his boat does so well in the chop, seems to me that the bow being stuck in give the pump a chance to have a constant flow of clean water to it, I could be wrong, but that's my $.02

This is my set up, not to pretty. I want to cut the ride plate so i can install the rudder ???
