5" tall? there are literally thousands of different flame arrestors, what are you trying to achieve?

I may have one...do they need to match?  Most flame arrestors are like 8" in diameter....

Hay 72, This is what I have. It says "Zenith USA USCG APP'D 162.041 94 0 B1755-36" This one cane in the donor boat today. Send me $10.00 for postage and it's yours. I had a set of these yearrrs ago. They were in a Trimetric scoop, the air cleaner bolt held them and the scoop to the top of the carbs. Both the bolts rattled loose and the whole thing blew off and sank.

I may have another one just like that, I'll have to go to the barn and check, maybe tomorrow (I was just there this morning too)

I'll get back to you...

I would run studs up from the 4 outter mounting points of your carbs , up through your scoop .
I dont think relying on just the flame arrestors is going to be enough to hold that tall scoop down when you get to haulin the mail .
I'll see if I can scare up some pictures of what I'm talking about .
I was at Big River once , some guy comes in with no scoop , no filters (he had KN's) .
Says he was moooovin , caught some evening breeze and the fukin thing blew off .
There goes 1K !
