I have one out of a tahiti , i gave it to a friend and I don't think he ever used it. I'll call him in the morning and see if he still has it.

You move the weight back, dry up the boat a little bit.

If you ever get over to the Fresno area, I have an old bow tank from a Tahiti.  Its 11 1/2 high, and 16 x 24,  $ 20.00.  I've never had fuel in it so I have no clue what kind of shape its in inside.

imo i would run the bow tank seeing that it acts as a place diverter for ya since your not running one.the fuller the tank the better the ride in chop the lesser the tank the more you get to air it out.but i wil post a pic of jims tomorrow for ya

Is it alumanum ?
Title: Re: Front tank for my tahiti
Post by: propless on February 07, 2010, 10:41:37 PM
Yea, its alumanum, it has a filler neck, vent line, and a threaded bung for a fuel pickup tube (no pickup tube in it), an old sending unit in it for a fuel guage, and 2 mounting tabs on one side of it.  Ill get a pic of it if you want.

Sorry it took so long, had to dig it out of the mess in the garage. Most of my furniture is in there while I paint the house.
