Everyone says it's a pain in the ass to covert it to a Berk pump

Could be easier to convert to Berk. internals with an Energizer kit. Either way you are probably going to spend some dough to convert the hull or energize your jacuzzi.

Yeah that's the whole problem the hull isn't worth enough to do all the mods to it unfortunately.

Whats wrong with the Dub J you have?
Easily rebuilt- new bearing and plastic wear ring.
And by the way, the Dub J gains very little with the conversion VS. the YJ/Golden Eagle (axial flow pump)
WJ to berk intake is very similar size, unlike a YJ to berk. YJ has a huge hole in the hull.
Mine has a stainless PJX 'B' impeller, detailed by MPD, and I'm keeping it all Jacuzzi, with diverter.

I'm not sure if anything is wrong with it. I was just seeing if someone had one that was already built so I could swap mine out built it later. I see a rock up by my pump intake. The quote I got from Dave at GS marine to do a stage one rebuild and add place diverter was 2400 bucks. That was removing the pump and installed.

If the bearing is good, pull the impeller, get a wear ring, fine tune the impeller and reassemble . JPB has them in stock.

Fine tuning the leading edges of the impeller- rock dings and such...same on trailing edges, helps reduce cavatation, as long as the Impeller isn't destroyed.
I also detailed the leading edges of the bowl, again it had some rock dings.
There is 2 styles of Diverters- early and late. Early diverters have an adapter to the WJ. These were WJ specific.
Later diverters are the same as a Berk, using a different adapter, to the WJ.
Then there is a WJ to Berk 'ring' from JBP. Bolts on to a WJ bowl, and has the 8 bolt Berk pattern, so droops, wedges, and other hardware can be bolted on just like it was a Berk JG bowl.

Ok. I didn't know they make an adapter so you can bolt droop shoots on. Where on there website would it be? Is it worth putting a droop snoot?
