Title: looking for 455 olds motor or

 Nube here,getting ready to rebuild a 455 olds motor for my jet boat but if I can find one in good cond ready to drop in  I might go that route instead, also looking for headers for same motor so I can get rid of the thru the transom exhaust. If anyone has or knows ,please let me know ,thanks,  gary

Welcome Gary. 

There has been several threads with Olds parts listed around here, you just have to look around a little.

You might look at some of the running boats for sale with running Olds 455s.  Get a good running engine, resell the rest and maybe save a few bucks.

i've got a new built olds short block, forged pistons, balanced, restrictors,call for details, i also have a short bloct to rebuild, Jim 818-890-1867

i emailed him guess we will see if hes still in the market ..... that other guy was asking 1800 . i am just over this project i put 900 into the engine and decided that now is just not a good time to do it

thanks to all of you who answered . Funny thing happened in the mean time , found a 454 w/ tunnel and dual carbs bassets and turn key on ebay for sale and I picked it up for $1425.00 so I guess I will be swapping the Olds now with a chevy now I'm on the hunt for some shinny mounts to install it. Again thanks to all and this is really a cool site and would like to go boating with you guys this coming summer....gary

I have basset twiste for the olds custom vavle covers 10 qt oil pan crane roller tip rockers and some other parts.If interrested call. this is not junk. If interrested call Randy 928.230.4964 thanks.

if you are getting rid of thru transom exhaust would you be willing to get rid of the exhaust tips. and maybe the rubber pieces. i`ve got a 455 i`m trying to rebuild.and looking for some parts for the exhaust. thanks let me know either here or on my reg email.  jshock4800@sbcglobal.net. thanks jim

Blackbeard,  yes you could have the tips too ,I was going to purchase some new shinny ones anyway.I'll email you soon as my son gets back to be sure we still have them as of last night, As of last night we did.

I have a complete olds that runs good and also have bassett twistes and quite a few other hot rod olds parts call randy 928.230.4964
