Sounds either blown, or T/R.  >:D Either of which is a welcome sight here on an Olds. No secret my personal preference for Mallory stuff over MSD. It's probably nothing more than that, personal preference, in the long scheme of things, as I know many here on the boards, as well as Tom at JBP swear by the MSD stuff. BUT, anytime I'm dealing with new ignition parts on my stuff? Either a Mallory YLM marine dizzy (Or converted YL), or a Unilite, controlled by a Hyfire 6AL IF your electrical system is stable.

i agree!!! ;D i have always loved mallory stuff!  i wish they still made gauges! use to have them.

Ya i had a mallory too I just need a distributor and its a tr lol and a big cam lol I love ny olds especially when guys running bbcs come look at it and say Fuck its an olds lol
