Title: need 10 qt oil pan BBC ,motor mounts ,logs and snails

looking for BBC stuff ,mounts ,oil pan , logs and snails. I have logs and snails for 455 olds to get rid of. I have them listed local but I've got so much great info from this site and entertained by you guys they will be  free to anyone here that wants them. Watch it, thats for a Gen V wont work on a Mark IV. Also, watch if it is for jet or V-drive while shopping.

what is gen V and mark IV ? I know its the type motor but I don't know what I have . If you could steer me in the right direction I would appreciate any advice you could throw my way. As you can tell I'm sorta new to this and it would sure be nice to go in the right direction about what I need. I know there's a lot of guys on here that do this in their sleep. If you guy's wouldn't mind I sure could use your input and advice. This is going to be a father and son project. thank's for your reply.....gary

I know there is a good post here that brakes it down,  I'll see if I can find it.

This is what I know.

The Mark IV was the standard BBC from 65 through ? with a two piece rear main seal.

The Gen V came around in the late 80's (I think) that had a one piece rear main seal.

There is also a Gen VI that had even more changes made to it but I'm not sure of what.

I have a set of Glenwood logs and snails in good condition for BBC. I took them off this summer to install OT Bassett's. They are polished.

Mark IV   Gen V  ok got it ....thanks for the correction ...        also logs and snails or gone.
