Title: need to buy an anchor for gathering trip........

need to buy or be loaned out an anchor for the gathering trip, some how mine is missing from last trip when i went to laughlin, i swear i picked it up for the shore and brought it home, but i have had my boat for sale out on the street maybe some "borrowed it" who knows...but im gonna need one nevertheless
i had that galvanized triangle kind i got a 22 ft boat ....please advise!!!!

Damn I'm glad you made this post! I need one too, I guess the one from my open bow will work for me... I would have gotten there with no anchor...

I've got two boat anchors but they aren't going to be worth a damn at any sandbar or beach where there's any kind of water current. Once I get done with my 400,000 pieces of paperwork tonight, I'm going to go look for some steel to make some "sandbar type" anchors. When will you need an anchor Chromey?

i wont need one untill i get there on saturday......savin my pennies for the trip...whats it going to cost me?

Kyle has a small mushroom type of anchor...dont know if it will be worth a damn at a sand bar, but better then nothing. I will see if he is willing to lend it out..
