For what it costs to rework a set, you should consider a set from Summit Racing.

Scat Stock Replacement I-Beam Connecting Rods
Connecting Rods, 4340, I-Beam, Thru-Bolt, 6.135 in. Length, Chevy, Big Block, Set of 8
 Tomorrow $240.95

Pretty darn cheap! And Scat has a pretty good rep.!!!

Agreed. But if you Have to have stock rods, then get them the funk out of my garage  ;D

chevy rods ,polished,small ends bronze bushed, big ends resized, new bolts,  ready to go, new run, $200.00, Jim

That set of rods from Jim Brock sounds like a deal to me (don't worry, I'll ship them for him if you buy them  ;D )
