One of you fast drag boat guys must have removed one of these and its laying around in your way? will trade for beer.
Thanks for looking!!
-
Is your broke or do you need to modify it...
-
both. the one that had came on the boat is small weathered and a little ratty with good small diameter frame. however my buddy gave me one thats in great shape a bit longer that won't fit the frame at all. he handed over his old frame that he had taken a tube from, for another project.
-
oh and one of the long tubes ir broken from the new frame.
-
I may have something that should work now between the 2 different diameter frames. Trying it on for size tomorrow.

Hit up local shops like JP marine for a used frame. I adjusted mine in height with a pipe cutter. If you need to make it less wide... you can get a piece of round hollow aluminum at a metal supply to fit inside center after you make the cuts to make it smaller in width. A couple holes through it with rivets to hold...done. Thats how some are made.

I'm thinking I may have to do the slip over fix on one of the tubes to shortin the length. I called tube service in El Cajon they wanted over $9 a foot for what I needed. So the patch kit is a little more in the budget I want to spend right now. I have no idea how it slipped my mind to call JP I drive past his shop daily to pick up my daughter. Thanks again!!

I get remnants at industrial metal supply cheap... You need about 12" for each row( 3 if its a 3 row) They have hollow tube and its usually installed 6" on each inside with bout 6 rivets a row.

Right on, thanks Mom!
