Title: WTB BBC valve covers
Post by: hotrod56cars on March 12, 2008, 12:08:44 PM: I'm looking for some BBC tall valve covers that I thought would be easy to find but apparently not. Aluminum, tall, plain (no: fins/names/flames/designs/etc.), not intersted in the new type of sheetmetal/fabbed valve covers. With NO breather/oil fill holes. Thanks!

Post by: TJS Nordic on March 12, 2008, 01:03:45 PM: Those plain ones weld up pretty nice. You just have to pre-heat the whole cover in an oven before welding anything on them. I got the plain ones and cut my own holes and use an alum. filler cap I got on ebay.

I did that already, only found one pair, painted silver. Still thinking about them and painting them blue or red.
