We are interested in buying a open bow jet boat. We live in Colorado, but plan to travel to SoCal with the intention of buying a boat. We will be or are willing to travel through Las Vegas, SoCal, Lake Havasu, and Phoenix. Our goal is to buy a boat we can take to Lake Powell on the way back to Colorado.

I am looking for a late 80's early-mid 90's open bow with a Big Block Chevy and either a Berkley or American jet, 20-22 ft long, and preferably not some hideous neon pink color.

We want to spend around $10K, but might be able to pay slightly more. 

We plan our trip Labor day week (Sept 1-8)

I would appreciate any help available, links to ads, info etc... I'll buy you lunch when we get out there or something.....

these are like the boats we are interested in, I would prefer one with the "squared off" open bow not a V, this seems to be more common on the 90's hull designs

That's a small engine cover so must be a small block under that cover. Allows for 2 large seats next to it though.
