Hi all I have been looking for an 7.3l 4X4 excursion with low miles for a while. I am looking for one with cloth seats. I have a 2006 super crew 2WD XLT to trade as well.
Thanks

Me too. Found a few in OC at dealers but they want a lot of money for them. Currently looking at a one owner truck that is just mint. New BFG's too for $15K. It has been on a small lot in town for 3 weeks now, but I really want an Excursion.

i was in the same boat. looking for a 7.3 excursion... but they're few and far between in socal and everyone wants a ton for them.

Very true. I might consider a V10 but it would need to have less then 40k miles on it.

They come up, just watch for them. My father picked one up about 8 months ago for $17. It's lifted and been beefed up, 4x4 limited, banks, with pretty much every option. It's about 7 miles away from rolling over 100k.
Sent while day dreaming...

There is a guy on RDP that has an awesome Excursion but it has the 6.0. However it has all the Bulletproof mods to make it, well umm Bulletproof. Lifted, special air ride suspension etc. all kinds of cool stuff. Decent price for what you get. But yeah the 7.3 are a bit harder to come by. I know I still looking, but I think my requirements have changed enough that I may go with a 7.3 truck.
Why the cloth seat? I hate 'em, they show wear so fast and when they get dirty they don't clean up very well.

That one is sweet! The 6.0 have great power. My dad has a 6.0 EX that has Bullet proof diesel EGR cooler, Coolant filter, Arp head studs, Remote Oil filter with an SCT programer. That Ex will do burnouts like crazy if you dont watch your right foot. It just took a lot of $$$ to get it there.
The XLT's are cheaper. If i could find a limited at a decent price i might jump on it. It will be getting Wet okole water proof seat covers anyway. My F150 has them now. I can get in soaked and when I get home and wash the covers the seats dont have any Watermarks on them.
