I'm looking for a set of 8 good condition aftermarket Olds 455 Pistons. ( no standard bore)
Please let me know what you have.
I can also use a few TRW L2323 .030 over forged Pistons.
I have paypal ready and would like to buy asap!

What are you trying to do performance wise? You dont have too many cheap options with Olds pistons.

Trying to get an engine together for a boat I bought. Just need something inexpensive, so I can spend some $$ on machine work.
... About to pull the trigger on a new set I found for not much more than whatever used ones I find.

Yeah pistons often end up being one of the cheapest components when you look at the prices of things like oil pans and valve train pieces. If I recall of the 7 only one had any flaws. A valve let go and destroyed #8 and dinged up #7 a bit but a little work with a grinder and you could run it. Dont know what Tony will want for them though. Keep in mind that he would most likely be selling you a set with rings and rods. They came from a 442 racer back east and appear to have low time on them. Rings are one of those silly expenses I mentioned earlier. It would be nice to save that $ if you could.

I'm well aware of what it take to build an engine... Maybe you missed it from before- I own and run a jet boat shop!
Got sooo much and many olds parts, that I'm ready to give the shit away. Just don't have a set of Pistons worth looking at.
Never the less, I likely will pass on Tony's 7 Pistons, as I mentioned... I can find a new set for not much more than I would offer him.

Also, I'd never "grind" a piston to try and fix it, especially if I'm machining (bore/hone) a block to it ! 😎

The walls are cherry, it was just the deck that got roughed up. But suit yourself, just trying to help guys out.

You interested in them or not. Also I'm not going to yank them out to take a pic if you are going to offer me peanuts for them. Not worth it.

No, thanks Tony--- don't bother...
Guess it's the new fad now days, everyone wants to make $ doing as little as possible.
I asked you how much you wanted, remember!? That's the time when you says how much you want! Not make an offer and jump into assumptions on wether or not it will be peanuts...
