Hey guys. I'm looking for exhaust manifolds for a mercruiser 260 I/O. They are the logs not center rise. Both are cracked :(
-
how soon do you need them? I'm in the process of converting to center risers and would sell you my stock logs. Im just waiting for my supplies to show up in the mail
thanks

How sure are you that all you need is the manifolds?
Have you checked the block?
I may have the Starboard (right) side... I need to go check it for cracks/rust. I would be willing to bet I can muster a set up real easy... :sly:

Yes I had the block checked. Psi tested I guess. Did compression check on it. When I bought it I was told the water pump in the drive was new. Well it got hot on me fast and the manifolds already had hair line cracks. When it got hot it opened them up. They spray like sprinklers. Lol

Let me see what I have..
Heading over there right now to check on other parts for others here on the boards.

Cool. Appreciate you checking for me. Between your parts and knowledge you tend to be a life saver

Well, I was right,I do have one, and it is broke.....:-
Why do I save some of this stuff?
Give me a coupe days and I can track them down, you sure you want to stick with the rear riser?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using SoCalJetBoats mobile app

Not really sure. I just wanted the easiest "plug n play". Eventually I'm gonna put a rear bench and it would be easier to build the deck. While I have you here... If I stay with the logs not center rise could I 90 off of those and run TT exhaust. There's room just not sure if mechanically it's ok to do

Well you could..... But in all honesty it is MUCH easier to do with center risers and it will run a bit better too, those rear dumps were parasitic as hell.

IF i go center rise. How much of what I have is reusable. Thermostat housing, hoses, etc...

Not that tough. I have a t-stat housing here if you end up needing it.
You will however need the manifolds, risers, drop ells (unless you go through hull) and some miscellaneous hoses.
I find blown up motors on a daily basis that are fully dressed. I will keep an eye out.
BTW, These guys are the coolest people on the planet... http://www.shipwreckusedparts.com/contactus.html (http://www.shipwreckusedparts.com/contactus.html)

Thanks for keeping your eyes open. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna try to stick to the logs. Depends on price I guess lol

I've got two sets of stock end riser SBC manifolds and one set of risers. Let me know if you still looking. I'm in Chico, 100 miles north of Sacto.

You have pics if them?
