Post by: bboerner on June 01, 2010, 08:07:12 PM
I'm looking for a motor cover for a 19ft sleekcraft. I dont know much about boats but what I have is an 1986 19ft bubble deck, if anyone knows where I can find one please let me know.

Sure it's a 19' or an 18'?? 18' would have a doghouse, 19' would have a complete hatch cover.

Ray

There was a guy selling one on and off craigs list for an 18' Rebel on one of the northwest craigs lists........chatted with him a bit, but shipping it? forget it!

Thats the Cover or Hatch. The Dog House will just cover the engine and there would usually be seats on the side of the engine. When I first started looking for a jet, years ago I wanted to find one with the cover like you showed and then gave up.  :-\

Exactly! I think they're the same on the 19' Kauai and the 20' Aristocrat Models, if that helps at all.

Actually, finding one will be next to impossible without buying another boat for it. I'd PM Gil (Bowrider) and see if you can work out some detained pics/measurements and have one made. Gils' is a lot more complicated than mine on the Ambassador, but could be done, I would think.

Better yet, wait til the off-season, grease Gil's palm and I'm sure Skip knows a good glasser in or around Bakerstucky that can duplicate it using Gil's....... ::)
