How old is the rider? If over 5, I recommend NOT using training wheels; it's just a crutch that will delay 2-wheeling; 2 years ago on my son's 5th bday I got him a JR50 and he was off and riding.

He's 4 and a half and he doesn't show a lot of interest in riding his bicycle.  His 7 yr old brother has been bugging me for a long time for a dirt bike and this one kind of feel in my lap.  My plan is for them both to start on it and then the bigger boy will get something else for his Bday this summer.
After getting the dealer pricing today tho I may just let them take their "lumps" and learn the hard way. The 7 yr old never fell one time after I removed the trainers from his Schwinn.  Just thought I'd ask.  Where's Sanford when I really need him?
