I got a 8v 1.8L JL block out of a '84 VW GTI.......no idea what the block looks like inside.

I just want it gone, but dont know how to dispose of it.

Scrapped v8 blocks and pistons particularly. If they have cam, and crank great.  If you just need space and have something that might be in good shape I'll take it.

Brad remove all plugs from oil gallerys and take a pair of channel locks and get the oil filter plug out, they are hard to come by

i got the plugs out that i could...some of them the allen socket is stripped out. I will get the oil filter plug out as well....

also, i couldnt get the timing gear off the crank  ??? tried a pully puller on it and it bent that harbor frieght pile of shit up pretty good.
