I just wanted to see what type of anchor everyone was using these days? I was thinking about a collapsible box anchor with 5' of chain then rope with a hook. My boat is 19' Your thoughts???

I use a box anchor for my 21 open bow no chain just rope and a danik hook at the bow to adjust for different locations. Box anchors are bad ass and my .02 no chain needed

Box anchor holds my 19 footer right in place.

Box anchor, no chain, holds my 18’ no problem, box anchor and a sand spike for the rear to keep it bow out is even better
