comp jet questions.
« on: August 09, 2015, 07:47:04 PM »
anyone on her race in the comp jet class? wanting to get into it in the next couple of years.
i was reading up on the rules and i saw that stringers have to be visible for inspection. does this mean that no carpet can be in the boat?
also what safety gear is required? i know obviously a helmet and life jacket but is there any special type that is needed? and how does everyone bolt the seat to the stringers? thank you in advance.

Thanks mash. Just trying to find out what route to go with my boat. It's going to be a cross breed family boat and maybe 3 races a year for fun.

Bolting the seat thru stringer I'm assuming there would be a bracket bolted to the stringer for the seat to sit on?
