That's the problem with the bigger cams and higher RPM... it can take some double throw me down valve train to keep it alive. Isn't yours around a .700 lift? Rev limiters are a gods gift for jet boats 

780 on the exhaust and 810 on the intake.. hahahahahah thats my problem!!!  it sure did sound good though...

that was your cam in your boat ? how come it sounded stockish then must have had bad springs you werent spinning alot of rpm at avi like what maby 5400

haha ya thats whats in it, right before it broke the springs at havasu i was watching the tach and it pegged out at 5100... Now im going to throw in the new cam, new heads, and put my tunnel ram back on. hopefully that will pick me up a little

how were they 8000 rpm heads? get that thing together

it has a Victor intake, RPM range of 4000 - 8500+ haha, i was taching out at 5100, and that was with a 1050 dominator.. so i wasnt seeing any of the power what so ever... ya those heads are 8000 rpm ones.. meaning they make there power at 8000 not 5100  ... its all gonna change now!!!

Im going out for labor day and my friend is bringing his GPS.. Its time to find out how fast "STRESSED OUT" is going.. I know what ever it is im going to be pist    .. What are all you jets GPS'ing at??   

Your actual horse power (where its made,rpm range) and the "health" of you jet/what impeller are going to be huge determining factors  Tom
