1976 Hondo T Deck

What do you fellas think??? Before I post the price on what I paid I need an honest opinion. I live this hull not that many left around.

Bad jacuzzi yj, bbf (no offense fellas).

The good: Full stringer and it's all solid no cracks anywhere and I'm pretty sure I can wet sand her back to shine in a weekend.

Po said she was healthy last year. Won't fire at this point. I'm assuming it's the fuel pump not hearing her hum. Guess we'll see I'll keep you guys posted.

It's a jacuzzi WJ which is the better of the Jacuzzi pumps.

They are cool boats. I had one for a little bit while I was building my old daytona. It had a Jacuzzi in it also. They run ok mine turned weird because if the delta pad in front of the intake but it was a cool boat. I love the lines and the t deck. Sometimes I wish I would have never sold it

Battery is dead and I'm pretty sure the fuel pump is gone. Tomorrow I'll pick up a new battery and a cheap fuel pump see if I can get some fuel in the carb.

I've been looking for a while and any t deck out there is garbage. After 5 years looking I found this one...hey 1000 bucks for the whole boat lol. Can't complain. Just wanna get out on the water at this point.

Sweet purchase! I've always liked the look of the T decks. Although, they look like they are impossible to climb back into if you jump In for a dip. Get it going so I can experiment.

If the pump is not damaged, use the money you would use on installing a Berkeley and buy a Place diverter for the WJ.

The WJ will handle just about anything you can throw at it without complaint.

As for the hull... I have a love/hate relationship with mine. I absolutely hate how it rides unless the water is between flat and mild wind chop, anything rougher and it is horrible. Now on the other hand, I love the uniqueness of the T-deck and the sexy shape of the hull.

And for an added bonus, don't plan on packing too much stuff in it, it's very cozy inside.

I thought all little boats like yours handled liked that.
Some better than others but not by much.

Anyway fellas turn a couple of screws and bolts in the past couple of days...Heres the update...

My buddy cliffjumper gave me a mitsubishi fuel pump lol which worked just to see if she will stay running and she did. Found out the carb was totally shot. The little 4 banger mitsubishi pump couldn't have put out more then 4 psi and the carb started pissing fuel out of every side possible lol.

Picked up a new battery, ordered a new blue holley pump and I have a good 750 demon sitting in the garage.

My question is...When she fired up and idled for about 5 seconds the oil pressure was up to 45 psi. Does that so I nd healthy for bbf??? This is my first bbf no clue about numbers on these.

...and yeah, that's plenty of oil pressure. Rule of thumb is 10psi per 1000 rpm.
